Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi says the South East Governors will not tender any apology to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
IPOB had in a recent open letter to the South East Governors, made some demands including open apology.
Briefing State House Correspondents on Thursday after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Umahi said: “We have no apology to tender.”
The Governor also noted that the South East Governors did not proscribe IPOB because it didn’t have the power to do so.
He also said IPOB lacked the power to issue travel ban to the South East Governors, adding that “I will even make it known to IPOB whenever I have cause to travel to any part of the world.”
