Davido, the Afrobeats star, has opened up on the possibility of a 10-song album with Chris Brown, the US singer.
Davido, in a recent interview on the Bootleg Kev podcast, said he and the American singer have recorded about ten songs that are yet to be released.
The 30-year-old singer said he is a fan of Brown, adding that “every time we get in the studio, I’m happy.”
“If I were to do a collab project or collab album with anyone from the states, it will definitely be Chris,” he said.
“Me and Chris got like 10 songs people haven’t heard. We’ve definitely talked about doing an album. I’ll go to his house after here but yeah, me and Chris definitely.
“I’ll do a record with SZA, she is really really dope. I’m looking for Bad Bunny too.
“If we do a record and I know that you’re going to push it to the fullest and you’re an artiste that I enjoy and I’m a fan. Like me and Chris, every time we get in the studio I’m happy because Chris is doing video with you, Chris is bringing you out on tour, Chris is thinking of ideas.”
Born Christopher Maurice Brown, the Grammy-winning US music star is considered one of the most influential and successful R&B singers, with ten albums to his credit.
Davido, on the other hand, has continued to enjoy global prominence while winning a plethora of awards and recognition for his expertise.
The pair teamed up for ‘Blow My Mind’ in July 2019.
