Davido, the award-winning Nigerian music star, says he has acquired a private jet.
The Afrobeats singer took to his X, formerly Twitter, on Thursday, to gush about his latest acquisition, which is the Bombardier 7500.
“Bombardier 7500 Tear Rubber,” the cryptic message reads.
The post has attracted over a million views and nearly 35,000 likes with thousands of followers congratulating the singer on his latest acquisition.
Cubana Chief Priest, the nightlife promoter and associate of Davido, also took to Instagram to imply that the singer paid $75 million for the private jet.
“@davido Who You Use ? Hope Say No Be Me Oh. You Dey Pressure Dem Too Much Oh, I Don Dey Pity Dem. Take it Easy Naaaaa. 75,000,000💸 Tear Nylon Bombardier🛩️ Chai !!! Money💸 Na Water,” he wrote.
Similarly, Peruzzi, the singer, expressed shock over Davido’s latest private jet purchase.
“How You Go Follow Me Drag Igbeaux For Night, Next Day You Buy New Jet. Ermmm Congrats @davido. But… That Last Night Verse Is $500k, Thanks & Thanks,” he wrote on X.
The Bombardier 7500 is an ultra-long-range business jet. Built for maximum comfort and speed, it is believed to be one of the largest business jets in the world.
It remains to be seen if Davido bought the private jet or if he is just teasing his fans.
