The Supreme Court has just dismissed the sacked governor Emeka Ihedioha’s motion to review its judgement, saying it lacked jurisdiction to review the case, adding that ‘its capable of causing chaos’
The judgment was delivered on Tuesday by the seven-member panel led by the Chief Justice of the Federation, Justice Tanko Muhammad.
The court had earlier in the day stood down judgment after counsel to parties to the suit had made their final submissions.
The Supreme Court had on January 14, 2020 declared Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress winner of the March 9, 2019 governorship poll.
