The founder of Akin Adebisi Foundation (AAF), Mr. Akin Adebisi, today bagged the prestigious/highest honour as a fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).
Akin Adebisi bagged the honour alongside the former speaker of the federal House of Representatives, Hon. Yaqub Dogara and few other selected successful management experts across the six geo political zones of Nigeria.
The honour was held at Muson Center, Island, Lagos State to mark the 2019 awards, fellows and spouses’ day luncheon of the Institute under the theme”Repositioning the Public Service for Public Private Partnership to Enhance Good Governance “. The Head of Service, Ogun State, Engr. Isiaka Olarenwaju Bisiriyu did justice to the theme of 2019 annual gathering/honour.
Akin Adebisi is an articulate, energetic, honest, seasoned, dynamic and result delivering
manager. Hi Tech Computer literate and has gained first class experience in world
class sales and marketing environment of Coca-Cola (Coca Cola HBC-Largest).
He holds the following professional qualifications among others: Fellow Chartered Economists of Nigeria (FCE),Fellow National Institute of Marketing Of Nigeria((FNIMN), Honorary member Chattered Institute of Bankers((HCIB),He is an Alumnus of Pan African University (Lagos Business School), with international management experience and trainings from India Institute of Management Ahmedabad), Johnson Learning Institute Ghana, Oliver wright international Inc.United Kingdom,T&L Associates, Johannesburg, South Africa and Chartered Institute of Bankers Nigeria.
Akin Adebisi is a Board member of many financing institutions. He is the current chairman of the Touch Gold Microfinance Bank. His financial and advisory roles in the credit and marketing areas have earned the bank tremendous growth. Not only that, Akin is a member of Board of Directors of Dayfos Investment Limited in United Kingdom (UK). The vast
experience has helped the company in its growth and expansion over the years.
Akin has won many awards while in the university as the best overall student in the
monetary and fiscal policy in the Department of Economics from the then Trade Bank Plc and Owena Bank Plc. In the pursuit of his sales and marketing career
excellence, he was equally the first winner of Airtel maiden edition of Chief Operating Officer (COO) best practice, integrity and ethical standard. He had to his
feat Airtel Chief Executive Officer (CEO) cash award of #500,000 to the best manager in Low Margin Site (LMS) elimination and revenue generating manager/waste control.
Mr. Akin Adebisi Olulekan was born in Ileogbo precisely Ayitedo’s compound in
the late sixties.
