Oluwo of Iwoland, HIM Oba (Dr.) Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has congratulated the Osun West Senator-elect, Engineer Adelere Oriolowo on his victory at the last Saturday’s poll.
The monarch equally extended the felicitation to the House of Representatives candidate elect for Iwo Federal Constituency, Hon. Yinusa Amobi.
Oba Akanbi ,in a statement by his press secretary, Alli Ibraheem, described the victory as the will of God, charged the elected officials to lift their constituency and constituents by running an all inclusive representations.
“The victory is a new beginning to reclaim the lost glory of Iwoland as the bastion and home of progressive in the southwest. I appeal to the elected officials to run an all inclusive government and deliver dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of their constituents”
The first class Oba beseeched the elected representatives to domesticate dividends of democracy, noting such will establish more political value and relevance for future political will.
He disclosed the recorded victory will further cement the existing unity in the constituency, admonishing constituents to cooperate with elected leaders to catapult our constituency to the next level.
Engineer Adelere Oriolowo floated his senatorial ambition under the ruling All Progressive Congress likewise Hon. Yinusa Amobi who won Iwo Federal Constituency House of Representatives seat.
