Adedokun Waliyu 
The third day of the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival is bringing major star power to downtown Toronto, with a busy lineup of world premieres, screenings and red-carpet events.
Anna Kendrick, Seth Rogen, Chris Rock, Michelle Yeoh, Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts and Mahershala Ali are among the stars expected to appear around TIFF on Saturday. Other talent connected to the day’s major premieres includes Dianne Wiest, Anthony Ippolito and Stephan James.
A total of 124 screenings are planned, with several highly anticipated films making their world premieres at major festival venues.
Red Carpets
Evil Genius
Location: Roy Thomson Hall
Time: 12:30 p.m.
Evil Genius is holding its world premiere at TIFF. The film explores the chilling and darkly humorous story surrounding the infamous 2003 “pizza bomber” incident.
The cast includes David Harbour, Patricia Arquette, Courtney Cox, Ryan Eggold and Harlow Jane.
American Hostage and Bedford Park
Location: TIFF Lightbox
Time: 1:25 p.m.
American Hostage and Bedford Park will hold a double red carpet.
American Hostage follows the true story of an Indianapolis radio reporter who faces a high-stakes situation when a local man takes a bank employee hostage and demands to be interviewed live on air.
Bedford Park is a romantic comedy about a chance encounter between two thirtysomething, second-generation Korean Americans.
Expected on the double red carpet are Adam Arkin, Jon Hamm, Giovanni Ribisi, Kristoffer Polaha, Stephanie Ahn, Moon Choi and Son Sukku.
Closing Night
Location: Princess of Wales Theatre
Time: 1:30 p.m.
Closing Night follows a hardened movie star returning to the complicated family she left behind decades earlier.
Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts, Dianne Wiest and Cody Fern are expected on the red carpet.
Babies
Location: Roy Thomson Hall
Time: 4 p.m.
Babies is a comedy exploring the question of whether to become a parent and the challenges it can bring to long-term relationships.
Seth Rogen, Anna Kendrick, Lauren Miller Rogen, Issa Rae, Dan Stevens, Zach Cherry and Ed Helms are expected on the red carpet.
Whatcha Want

Time: 4:15 p.m.
Whatcha Want tells the story of a young woman from Hong Kong whose marriage to a businessman is beginning to feel like a cage.
Mina Shum, Isabella Wei, Ming-Na Wen, Helen Dang, Russell Lee and Hugh Tran are expected to attend.
I Play Rocky
Location: Princess of Wales Theatre
Time: 4:45 p.m.
I Play Rocky recreates the story of how Sylvester Stallone got Rocky produced and went on to become a superstar.
Anthony Ippolito, Kiki Seto, Stephan James, P.J. Byrne and Peter Farrelly are expected on the red carpet.
The Surgeon
Location: Royal Alexandra Theatre
Time: 7:15 p.m.
The Surgeon follows a doctor who is kidnapped and forced to perform an operation.
Oscar-winning actress Michelle Yeoh, Martin Freeman and Roshan Sethi are among the stars expected to attend.
Misty Green
Location: Roy Thomson Hall
Time: 8 p.m.
Misty Green satirizes the bigotry and hustle at the heart of Hollywood.
Anna Kendrick, Chris Rock, Rosalind Eleazar, Daniel Kaluuya, Topher Grace and Tracie Thoms are expected on the red carpet.
Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother
Location: Princess of Wales Theatre

Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother centres on a devout Muslim and loving family man who is also a contract killer.
The cast includes Jahleel Kamara, Abubakr Ali, Adia, Giancarlo Esposito, John Cho, Mahershala Ali and Bassam Tariq.
Vintage Violence
Location: Royal Alexandra Theatre
Time: 10:45 p.m.
Vintage Violence follows a livestreamer who discovers a cache of vintage denim and is subsequently lured to Japan by one of his subscribers to sell the jeans.
Cole Sprouse, Eugene Kotlyarenko, Vishwam Velandy, Nick Corirossi and Kiko Mizuhara are expected to attend.
