Osun State Waste Management Agency, OSWMA has enjoined the entire people of the state to always abide with the environmental rules and regulations while calling them to demonstrate their unalloyed support to the administration of governor Gboyega Oyetola in his bid to create a conducive environment.
This was contained in a release issued and signed by the Acting General Manager of the Agency, Sanitarian Femi Henry Ogunbanwo copies of which made available to newsmen in Osogbo the state capital on Thursday.
According to the release, the current administration is making frantic efforts in ensuring clean environment for it’s citizens, adding that, people should reciprocate by abiding with the environmental law of keeping their environment tidy always.
The release also rejoiced with Governor Gboyega Oyetola and his Deputy, Benedic Alabi for affirmation given to their mandate as duly elected governor and deputy governor by the apex court in the land, saying, their victory affirmed the promises of God which has finally becomes a reality.
The statement added that, “nobody trades with God and record any loss. The campaign slogan of Oyetola is Ileri-Oluwa literally translates to mean the promise of God. This promise has come into fruition with the supreme court victory”.
Sanitarian Ogunbanwo, on behalf of the agency saluted the doggedness of the judiciary for standing with the truth, saying, the decisive effort of the Judiciary have transcend the democracy in the country to a greater height.
He averred that, Oyetola’s victory symbolised that God has bestowed his Mercy upon Osun people as governor Oyetola is a God’s servant who will take Osun to the greater height.
He charged residents’ of Osun State to cooperate and team up with the administration of the Governor to chart the course of more progress for the progressive government.
OSWMA acting G.M stressed further that the required leadership qualities to effectively paddle the canoe of Osun State to a successful berth is embedded in the gentlemanly statesman characteristic of Oyetola. This, he said should be looked at as part of the reasons to give unflinching support to his administration.
He however charged the governor to forget all the litigation distractions and concentrate on his pursuit of populous humanitarian policies and programmes which he has shown in his provision of infrastructural facilities , security and health interventions since his coming to power.
