Biodun Okeowo, the Nigerian actress popularly known as Omoborty, has announced her engagement to her lover.
In an Instagram post on Friday, the movie star shared a video from the proposal ceremony.
In the video, the couple could been having dinner when he popped the question. They later shared a passionate hug as Biodun struggled to contain her excitement.
Though she did not reveal the identity of her fiance, she described him as “the man of my dreams”.
“From the unexpected trembling in my hands to the overwhelming rush of emotions, I couldn’t hold back the tears of joy as he got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever,” she wrote.
“In that surreal moment, surrounded by love and filled with happiness, I said yes to the man of my dreams. Here’s to the beautiful journey ahead as we embark on our forever together, Ade mi.”
Fans and colleagues of the actress have taken to the comment section to congratulate the lovebirds.
The actress was previously married and is blessed with two children.
Okeowo delved into acting in the early 2000s but got shot into the limelight for her role in ‘Tolani Osinrin’.
She has been featured in a plethora of Yoruba movies such as: ‘Alapo Aje’, ‘Star Boy’, ‘Ebute’, ‘Okanjua’, and ‘Boseyemi’.
