Toronto Fire have rescued a man who fell 50 feet into a heavily treed steep ravine in the Don Valley on Saturday morning.
Toronto Fire responded to a call at approximately 10:45 a.m. to reports that a man had fallen into a ravine in the Don Valley.
High-angle rescue squads used a stokes basket to get the victim out and a man in his 40s was transported to a trauma centre with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the man falling into the ravine is unknown.
