The president-elect, Bola Tinubu has cast his vote at his polling unit in Lagos State.
Tinubu shared photos of himself voting on his Instagram page.

However, the polling unit was manned by security officials.
Personnel of the Department of State Services, Nigeria Police Force, and Civil Defence were seen at the unit to ensure adequate security.
The Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Idowu Owohunwa, also visited the polling unit for inspection around 8:19 am.
