The presidential election was held on Saturday with a total of 18 candidates contesting for Nigeria’s highest office.
Millions of Nigerians took to their polling units to vote in favour of their preferred candidates with celebrities also not left out of the phenomenon.
There were however reports of electoral violence at polling units across the country.
Chioma Akpotha lamented that she was attacked after thugs allegedly disrupted the electoral process at her polling unit.
Falz also recovered his phone after thugs allegedly attacked his polling unit at Ikate Lekki.
Banky W lost the Eti-Osa federal constituency seat to Thaddeus Attah of the Labour Party (LP).
Attah won with 24,075 votes, beating Banky W of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who had 18,666 votes.
Banky W had earlier said he “is very confident to win at the polls this time”.
The singer had contested in 2019 under the Modern Democratic Party (MDP) but lost to Babajide Obanikoro of the APC.
