Tiphani Montgomery, the pastor of Covered By God ministry in the US, has described Beyoncé as a witch.
The self-proclaimed prophetess shared a video on social media wherein she rebuked Christians planning to attend a concert organised by the US singer.
Tiphani also argued that Beyoncé is a “witch” who should be denounced by Christians.
“Any of you who are going to Beyoncé’s concert I rebuke you in the name of Jesus. How dare you call yourself a Christian,” she said.
“I don’t care what pastor you got who’s OK with it, I don’t care what pastor you got that think it’s cool, I don’t care what pastor you got that sing along to the songs because they want some clout.
“When a witch has a coven it’s normally a small thing, witches’ covens are normally three to seven people. When it becomes thousands it’s called a hive. You all are part of that lady Beyhive? And you call yourself a Christian?
“May the dealings of the Lord come upon you. Do you think this is small stuff? You think going to that lady’s concert is not an initiation, you think going to that concert is not a ritual.”
Tiphani’s admonishment has triggered a chorus of condemnation on social media.
Some Twitter users also dug up several tweets from over a decade ago when she appeared to have admitted to being “addicted” to Beyoncé’s ‘Why Don’t You Love Me’.
The pastor, however, fired back at her critics in a series of Facebook posts, saying she denounced the statement in 2015 after she got born again.
