The Oluwo of Iwoland, HRM Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, has pledged to continuously preaching oneness of God, reiterating he was sent to redeem the image of God on earth through service to humanity.
The disclosure was contained in a press release made available by the Press Secretary to Oluwo, Alli Ibraheem following the courtesy visit of the Nigeria representative of The World Muslim League (WML) in Mecca, Sheik Ahmad Abdul-Kareem popularly called Eleyin Erin.
Oba Akanbi further affirmed his peculiarity as traditional rulers in disbanding idolatory among traditional institutions and urged pagans to expel royal fathers in their midst to make our respective communities a better place to live.
Oluwo said he rarely pray to God after observing his five daily obligatory prayers as a Muslim but relying on his gestures towards Nigeria and Nigerians, reiterating he supplicate to his God through service to humanity.
Kabiesi hinted his financial wherewithal to be using worldly accessories but instead, prefer to render succor to the populace through infrastructural development, empowerment programmes, academic excellence, religious tolerance and others.
God sent me to redeem his image on earth. HE gave me peculiar assignment, though I may be a new king but my peculiarity lies in preaching against idolatory and tenacity towards developmental projects. I am imploring pagans to lubricate my sermon by expelling traditional rulers in their midst to make our society a better place. God dont live in dirty places. Traditional rulers are representative of God and must not bow to deified idols

Oba Akanbi implored Sheik Ahmad to liaise with the generous authority of Saudi Arabia to assist in renovation/upgrading of Iwo Central Mosque.
Shiek Ahmad pledged to promote the voice of Oba Akanbi to the authority of Mecca and beseeched Oluwo to provide the Mosque`s document and tentative financial bill of quantity.
