Former Super Eagles midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi is training with Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) outfit, Remo Stars ahead of the new season.
Onazi took part in the team’s two training sessions at the Remo Stars International Stadium, Ikenne on Tuesday.
The 30-year-old is a free agent after severing ties with Italian Serie D club, Casertana.
It remains to be seen if Onazi will pen a contract with the Sky Blue Stars.
The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner has been plagued by injuries in recent years.
A number of former Super Eagles players have played in the NPFL after winding down their careers in Europe.
Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa had a brief stint with Kano Pillars in 2021 before moving to Turkish Super Lig outfit, Fathi Karamgruk.
Remo Stars finished in third position in the NPFL last season.
