Segun Akanni, Toronto, Canada The Yoruba race allover the world will gather in Kumasi, the second largest city of Ghana between 9th and 11th of March 2017, for the 2017 World Yoruba Congress.
The head of the planning committee, Yewande Green, said the event has the blessings and endorsement of notable Yoruba Obas both in Nigeria and Ghana.
In her words, Mrs. Yewande Green, one of the the organisers and the Head of Planning Committee, said we are glad to inform everyone that this year`s edition will be fantastic as our Yoruba brothers all over the world, especially from Brazil, South America, the Caribbean and Africa are all excited about the opportunity of meeting other Yoruba speaking people from the rest of the world.”
