Segun Akanni, Toronto, Canada Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP Chieftain, Prince Sakariyau Oyedeji has applauded the timely efforts of some leaders of the party at rebuilding the party.
Oyedeji, who commended the move at ensuring unity and victory of the party towards next election in the Country, noted that the party would resolve the crisis that engulfed it while urged party loyalists to support the efforts of the reconciliation committee.
Oyedeji, while speaking with Journalists on Tuesday in Osogbo, emphasised that, PDP would come to power without stress come next elections.
He said, “Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would resolve the crisis that engulfed it and come out stronger in a shortest period of time”.
Oyedeji, who applauded the committee for getting the two factions of the party to the negotiating table noted that there was an urgent need to return the power to the people.
The PDP Chieftain, who enjoyed all the party loyalists in Osun State to remain one said nothing would stop them from taking the mantle of the affairs of the state in the next election.
Oyedeji, who debunked the insinuation making the round that, there is crisis in the party in Osun said, ” there is no iota of truth in the rumour as the PDP remain one in the state”.
According to the PDP Chieftain, “All members of the party in the state should continue to be dedicated, remain united, focus and shun any act that may lead to political crisis”.
