Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane, broke a record held by Arsenal legend, Thierry Henry, after scoring in Saturday’s North London Derby.
Kane converted from the spot to make it 1-1 at the Emirates shortly before the break.
The England star was already the outright highest scorer in North London derbies, but his latest strike extends the record to 14 goals.
It also saw Kane become the highest-ever goalscorer in London derbies ahead of Henry.
Kane now has 44 goals against teams based in London with Henry only just behind on 43
Ex-Spurs striker Teddy Sheringham sits in third place in the standings with 32 strikes in London derbies throughout his career.
Kane’s recent milestone is not actually the first time that he has surpassed Henry with his goalscoring feats.
He moved above the two-time Premier League winner in the all-time goalscoring charts back in March with a brace against Everton.
