The Spaniard considers Real Madrid’s Thibaut Courtois to be the world’s best goalkeeper currently.
He also found no place for Brazilian Alisson in his top five.
Courtois tops the chart, followed by Manchester City, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich goalkeepers, while Liverpool No.1 is overlooked.
Casillas is a World Cup winner with Spain and spent 16 memorable years as a senior Real Madrid goalkeeper.
Casillas’ top five for 433, include:
1. Thibaut Courtois (Real Madrid)
2. Ederson (Manchester City)
3. Jan Oblak (Atletico Madrid)
4. Marc-Andre ter Stegen (Barcelona)
5. Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich)
Casillas’ first choice and Belgium international, Courtois helped Real to La Liga and Champions League glory last season.
Ederson claimed a Premier League crown at Manchester City and Neuer lifted another Bundesliga title with Bayern.
Apart from Liverpool’s Alisson, Chelsea’s Edouard Mendy, who helped in the Champions League and Club World Cup victory during the 2020-21 season, was also overlooked.
