The Arole Oduduwa Olofin Adimula, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife on Tuesday night formally received his new queen; Olori Mariam Ajibola Ogunwusi.
In a press statement signed and made available to The Drum Online Media by Otunba Moses Olafare, Director, Media & Public Affairs, Ooni’s Palace. The new queen Ajibola ushered into the Ile Oodua Palace in Ile-Ife at about 8pm last night by her mother and other members of her family from Kogi and Kwara states was first received by members of Ife Traditional Council led by the Obalufe of Ife, Oba Idowu Adediwura and Lowa Adimula of Ife, High-Chief Adekola Adeyeye who after necessary traditional and spiritual rites performed by the Isoros(Chief priests)

Olori Mariam Ajibola Ogunwusi is a mixed blood as her late father hailed from Ebira ethnic part of Kogi state while her mother hails from Erin-Ile, an ancient Yoruba town in Kwara state
The bride, Mariam, is in her mid-30s. She is a top management executive (Administrative Manager) of Nestoil Limited; Nigeria’s largest indigenous Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) Company in the oil and gas sectorMariam is from the prominent Anako family of Kogi State. Her mother, a retired police boss, is an active politician. She lost her dad at a young age and was brought up in the home of the former IGP Mohammed Dikko Abubakar who reigned as the boss of the Nigerian Police between (2012 to 2014).
The wedding proper has been scheduled to hold next October.
