The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore has said looters of Nigerian treasuries should be treated like the convicted former Malaysian leader and his wife.
SaharaReporters had reported that Rosmah Mansor, wife of the ex-Malaysian Prime Minister, Najib Razak was sentenced to ten years in prison on each of three bribery charges.
Rosmah was found guilty on three charges of soliciting and receiving bribes to help a company win a 1.25bn ringgit project ($279m, £240m).
The High Court said the jail terms would run concurrently.
It comes days after her husband began serving a 12-year jail sentence for corruption.

According to a post made on his Twitter handle on Thursday, the AAC presidential candidate said, “Nigeria should be making examples of national rogues & looters like these ex-Malaysian leaders but instead national thieves are offered the best front row seats in our churches/mosques, they’re the chairmen of our biggest banks,
