The leadership of Nigeria Union of Teachers, NUT Osun State Wing and the entire teachers of both Primary and Secondary Schools in the state wish to commiserate with the teacher’s friendly Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola over the demise of his God-fearing mother.
This was disclosed in a condolence message issued on Wednesday by the State Chairman and Secretary of the Union, Comrade Wakeel Alade Amudah and Comrade Abdullahi N. Mohammed respectfully which described the late governor’s mother as a devoted Muslim who lived a life worthy of emulation.
According to the Osun NUT, “We hereby commiserate with our Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola on the death of his mother, Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola with deepest sympathy while the Union is paired that the death comes at a time the governor will need her motherly counselling towards the development of Osun State”.
The Osun teachers added further, “we feel solaced that Alhaja Saratu Aregbesola died at a ripe age, we pray to God to grant Mama Aljenah Firdaus while God will give the entire Aregbesola’s family the fortitude to bear the lose”.
