Segun Olulade Paid The School Fee Of Over 50 Indigent Students In Michael Otedola College Of Primary Education, Epe

The member representing Epe constituency II in the Lagos State House Of Assembly Hon. Segun Olulade made an indelible contribution towards the academic pursuit of over 50 indigent students of Michael Otedola College Of Primary Education yesterday in a programme organised by the Student Union Government to celebrate the end of the students week. The affected students quickly utilise the unalloyed fora to solicit for financial support from the Honourable member representing Epe Constituency II in the Lagos State House Of Assembly. Segun Olulade based on his usual behaviour, magnanimity and the passion he has for Youth education quickly without no remorse supported the students by given them scholarship.

He assembled the affected student in a hall, he asked them numerous questions about their academic sojourn, most of them complained bitterly about the present economical downturn in the country and how it has affected their academic life negatively. Some of them even told him that he should help them talk to the management to postpone the forthcoming examination by two weeks due to financial challenges.

After listening to them he told them that they should not be bothered about their tuition fee that he is going to settle it, he also made them understand that their academics is very sacrosanct, so therefore they should go and prepare for the examination because the postponement is not necessary, Segun Olulade told them that he will ensure that everybody will be carried along and ensure everyone sit for the examination.

The students were very surprised because they were not expecting that kind of financial and moral support from him, he collected their details then advised them on how they will be very distinguished in the society, so that they too will also contribute their own quota to the emancipation of the society, he gave them hope, he made them to understand that good things don’t just come easily, he shared some of his memories with them while he was a student.

He also encouraged the Youth to always participate immensely in politics. He commend the effort of the  National Assembly member for passing the Not Too Young To Run Bill, the Bill that will encourage and allow the Youth to be proactive in the political system.

Segun Olulade is a man of honour and a dogged leader that so much believe in education. If everyone can be like him this nation would have been better than the way it is, most of our representative are after their own assailable interest that is not worth while. Segun Olulade has shown us that he is there to speak for the people not for himself, the money he gave the student was from his personal earnings. This is the only man that have distinguish himself and set record that cannot be easily forgotten in history.
