Amosun accused of blocking road leading to Abiodun’s inauguration venue

Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, has reportedly blocked the road leading to MKO Abiola Stadium, Abeokuta venue of the inauguration of Dapo Abiodun as governor of the state.
Mr Abiodun, whose emergence was not supported by Governor Amosun, is to be inaugurated on May 29.
Eyewitnesses say the state government has put a heap of sand and a bulldozer at the entrance of the stadium on the pretext of road construction.
It is also alleged that Amosun dug a deep and wide gulley in front of June 12 Cultural Centre, where the inauguration lecture is being held.
Amosun was earlier suspended by the National Working Committee of All Progressives Congress (APC) for supporting another party’s candidate during the 2019 general elections
