Information reaching the media claimed that former Nigeria’s Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, will declare his intention to run for 2019 presidential race this month.
The Drum Online reliably gathered that Atiku’s dream of becoming Nigeria’s President is sacrosanct. Hence, he is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that his age long desire comes to fruition.
As at the time of filing this report, it is yet-to-be known under which platform he will be contesting for the seat, but what is certain is that he will make official declaration for his presidential ambition very soon, perhaps, this month of October, 2017.
Atiku is currently a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), but a strong group within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is wooing him to return to the party, a platform through which he became the Vice President between 1999 and 2007.
