One of the drivers of Uber in Lebanon, H. Tarek, has confessed to the rape and murder of British diplomat, Rebecca Dykes.
Available information has it that the driver has confessed to the crime.
Tarek was said to have been arrested early on Monday by the Information Branch after his SUV was linked to the crime by CCTV cameras.
He was said to have picked Dykes, 30, after a party on Friday night, attempted to rape her and then strangled her.
He dumped her body along the Metn Expressway on Saturday morning.
The body was discovered at about 3am.
