Following the continuous protests against the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Nigerian Police Force, the Lead Visioner of TEAM JANDOR, Mr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, has urged the Police to stop using live bullets on protesters.
Jandor, as he is fondly called, condemned in totality the unprofessional engagement of protesters by some men of the Police Force, describing it as ‘unacceptable’.
The #EndSARS protest, is a demand to scrap the police unit due to various allegations of harassment of innocent citizens and extra judicial killings.
Jandor, the initiator of the Lagos4Lagos movement, charged Lagosians to stay safe and embark on a peaceful and non-violent protest.
While condoling with the families of those who lost their loved ones to the protest, he urged the government and the police to ensure a thorough investigation and prosecution of the erring police officers and also compensate the families of the deceased.
