The Lagos indigenous group, IBILE – EKO FORUM, on Thursday, inaugurated the Ikeja Local Government, Ojodu and Onigbongbo Local council development areas structures respectively.
Spread across the five divisions of Lagos state, the indigenous group has successfully inaugurated the structures in over 70 percent of the LGs/LCDAs in the state.
Speaking at the inauguration, the Grand Patron of the group, Mr. Abdul – Azeez Olajide Adediran, fondly called Jandor, informed the teeming supporters of the ‘Lagos4Lagos’ movement of the assurances of top echelons in the Lagos political sphere.
“This movement is well accepted not just at the grassroots, the political big wigs and Lagos elites are fully behind us”.
He noted that “there is no cause for alarm, let’s continue our mass mobilisation in every nook and cranny of the state to justify our readiness to make Lagos work for Lagos,” he added.
Meanwhile, the principal coordinator of IBILE – EKO FORUM, Hon. Bode Makinde, reeled out the group’s plan to conclude with the inauguration of the local structures across the 20 Local Governments and 37 Local Council Development Areas.
Makinde expressed the readiness of members of the group to run with the Lagos4Lagos movement.
