Nigeria’s Covid-19 Burden Rises Above 5,000, With 193 New Cases On Thursday

A total 193 new cases of coronavirus infections were recorded on Thursday, raising the country’s total burden to 5,162. Fifty-eight of the confirmed cases were recorded in Lagos, said the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.
Another 46 were recorded in Kano. NCDC gave the breakdown as follows:
