..to celebrate 2020 cultural day with workers
Following the approval of the sum of N500million for the payment of terminal benefits to retired workers enrolled under the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) in Osun, Governor Adegboyega Oyetola will on Friday, 14th February, 2020 present bond certificates to the retirees.
This is just as the Governor also approved the release of another N50million for payment of gratuities to retirees under the old Pension Scheme and N423.8 million to retired Local Government Employees and Elementary School Teachers in the State.
The Permanent Secretary, Office of Head of Service, Osun, Samuel Ayanleye Aina made this known in a circular issued on Monday in Osogbo.
He added that to promote Culture and Tourism in the State, Governor Oyetola will also on the 14th celebrate the 2020 Cultural Day with Civil servants.
“Osun, being the cradle of Yoruba race, public servants are enjoined to wear Adire attire which the State is known for,” the statement said.
