The emergence of the new Executive governor of Osun State, Alhaji Gboyega Isiaka Oyetola has been described as a good omen towards the development of the state.
The Coordinating Director of the Osun Waste Management Agency, OWMA, Mr Femi Henry Ogunbamiwo, said this on Monday unbehalf of the management and staff of the agency in a Congratulatory message issued and made available to newsmen in Osogbo the state capital.
The Director who rejoiced with Governor Oyetola and his Deputy, Mr Benedict Alabi emphasised that, the combination of the two leaders would not only consolidate on the achievements made by the immediate past governor of the state, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, saying it would enhance more physical infrastructural facilities.
According to him, “People of the state must be congratulated for having the type of Alhaji Oyetola who is a technocrat, workaholic, amiable, God-fearing and philanthropist as the leader of the state.
” The entire people should demonstrate their unflinching support and corporation to the new governor and his deputy for them to continue to pilot the affairs of the state to the greater height” Ogunbamiwo stated.
The OWMA boss also reiterated government commitment to ensure proper evacuation of refuse on a daily basis.
The Director noted that, people should cultivate the habit of cleaning culture for them to be protected from any major diseases and epidemic.
He further explained that state government would leave no stone unturned for the state to remain a peaceful and disaster free state
He used the medium to call on the Enforcement Unit, the O’Clean Marshal of the agency to expedite action by responding to their duty.
Ogunbamiwo, who commended people of the state for their usual cooperation to the agency said making the environment clean, people were creating wealth technically by upholding high hygiene saying people should stop dumping waste indiscriminately.
“The people should refrain from dumping garbage by the roadside for the benefit of ourselves” Ogunbamiwo added.
