Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), has insisted that in the 2023 general elections, Nigerians must defeat the current leaders of the country whom he described as incumbent thieves.
Sowore and his political party on Saturday kicked off their presidential campaign in Kano State, where the party promised Nigerians freedom from the present challenges.
The AAC noted that Sowore, through his revolutionary programmes, would pull the country out of the imminent collapse and anarchy brought upon it by the combined failed governments of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
On Monday, Sowore, who is also a human rights activist and #RevolutionNow convener, in a post on Twitter, said, “Nigerians must defeat: incumbent thieves, incumbent saboteurs, incumbent tyrants, incumbent murderers, incumbent manipulators, incumbent human rights violators, incumbent liars, incumbent bribe collectors, incumbent fake contractors, incumbent ghost leaders, incumbent bigots.”
The AAC Presidential Campaign spokesperson, Onyinye-Gandhi Chukwunyere, earlier in a statement noted that Nigerians had endured endless treachery, deceit and oppression in the hands of failed past and present leaders and politicians of the country, but assured that with the party’s participation in the coming elections, help was on the way.
