The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has urged Nigerians not to vote for him in the forthcoming election because of his tribe or religion.
Obi disclosed this during an interview with a journalist, Eniola Akinkuotu, expressing that Nigerians should vote for him based on his character and integrity.
Akinkuotu revealed this in a tweet via his official Twitter page on Thursday.
He wrote, “I had an interview with @PeterObi on his plans for Nigeria.
“His words: Don’t vote for me because I’m Igbo, don’t vote for me because it’s my turn, don’t vote me because I’m Christian. Vote me based on my character & integrity. Watch out for the full interview on @TheAfricaReport.”
